Istanbul, 2007.

Lamina Stone’s journey began in 2007 in the Tuzla Organized Industrial Zone in Istanbul, with a focus on natural stone production, export and application.

Experience working directly with marble revealed both the extraordinary potential of the material and the practical limitations associated with traditional stone.

Closer to the source.

In 2010, Lamina Stone moved its production facility to Afyonkarahisar, one of Türkiye’s most important natural stone regions. 

The move provided greater production capacity and created the environment for Lamina Stone to deepen its focus on specialist stone lamination and lightweight natural stone production.

Inside Lamina Stone’s manufacturing facility, natural stone is carefully selected, cut into thin layers and strengthened through specialised lamination processes. It is a highly considered approach to a material shaped by nature – combining craftsmanship, precision and technology to create new possibilities for marble.

From Afyonkarahisar to the world.

Lamina Stone products have been used internationally across hotels, commercial buildings, luxury marine projects, interiors and bespoke furniture. Today, that experience is being introduced to architects, designers, builders and project teams across Australia and New Zealand.
